With Porsche, the specification sheet is the asset. Two identical models can differ by tens of thousands at resale purely on how they were ordered.

How allocation actually works

Desirable models are allocated to dealers in limited numbers, and dealers allocate to clients. Purchase history, relationship and flexibility on specification all influence where you sit in the queue.

This is why a first-time buyer walking in cold is often quoted long waits on the same car another client is offered within months. Access is the constraint, not price.

Options that protect value

Sports Chrono, adaptive sports seats, the Sport Exhaust, upgraded audio and a considered colour combination are consistently rewarded on the used market.

Deleting standard equipment to reduce price almost always costs more at resale than it saves at purchase.

PCCB, PDCC and the big-ticket decisions

Carbon ceramic brakes are superb but expensive to replace, which can deter later buyers on road-focused cars. Rear axle steering and dynamic chassis control tend to be viewed more favourably.

The rule of thumb: options that improve how the car drives every day age better than options that only matter on a circuit.

New, approved used or private

Approved used cars carry warranty and a documented history at a premium. Private examples can represent real value, but the inspection and history verification must be thorough.

We independently verify build sheets, service history and accident records before recommending any prestige purchase, new or used.
